About The Artist
I am a fiber artist using the process of crocheting, knotting, and weaving. My work consists of crochet tapestries typically in a rectangle/square format. I also cover functional objects in some form of crochet. I like to work with a lot of bright colors. Each of my works have different color schemes usually inspired by different decades/periods in time. Color is what makes my work stand out by using it to express an emotion or to create a space. I create patchwork and pattern designs.
The content of my work is based on my personal memories and experiences. I tend to go back to my childhood and recreate how I want to remember things because it was a good time in my life with no worries in the world.
